Review by hotel critic
During our stay at Acquario, my family and I had the pleasure of exploring the vibrant city of Genoa. The hotel's proximity to all major attractions, such as the Palazzo Ducale and the Museum of the Sea, made our sightseeing adventures effortless. We particularly enjoyed a pleasant walk through Europe's largest old city center, soaking in the historic charm of the winding streets and picturesque piazzas. One of the highlights for us was the Old Port area, home to the fascinating Aquarium and Cotton Warehouses. It provided a unique blend of maritime history and modern attractions, perfect for both adults and kids alike. Despite the language barrier with some receptionists, their warmth and assistance shone through. Our room, though small, was comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.Acquario offered us a convenient and welcoming retreat in the heart of Genoa, allowing us to create lasting memories as a family amidst the city's rich history and vibrant culture.
